Jiangbei Additive

Potassium Sorbate is a chemical additive. It’s widely used as a preservative in foods, drinks, and personal care products. It is an odorless and tasteless salt synthetically produced from sorbic acid and potassium hydroxide.




  1. Our technicians have been engaged in the production of this product for about 20 years and accumulated rich exprience;
  2. Appearance: pure white and brilliant lustre;
  3. The main product is columnar granule with a size of 1.2mm, 25kg/carton; every 20' container can contain 14mt. Moreover, we supply powdery and spherical granule according to the clients' requirements;
  4. The intrinsic quality indexes are strictly accordance with FCCIV standard.

 Function and Usages :

It is mailny used in to resist the growth of microbe in the food.

  1. In our daily life, add 0.1 % potassium sorbate into the soy sauce , yellow wine, vinegar and pickle etc, you can find their taste much more better.
  1. Frosted food, especially the fish and shrimp, will keep their original tenderness and freshness if being soaked into the 0.3 % solution of potassium sorbate for about 30 secons before refrigeration.
