Potassium Sorbate is a chemical additive. It’s widely used as a preservative in foods, drinks, and personal care products. It is an odorless and tasteless salt synthetically produced from sorbic acid and potassium hydroxide.

Function and Usages :
It is mailny used in to resist the growth of microbe in the food.
- In our daily life, add 0.1 % potassium sorbate into the soy sauce , yellow wine, vinegar and pickle etc, you can find their taste much more better.
- Frosted food, especially the fish and shrimp, will keep their original tenderness and freshness if being soaked into the 0.3 % solution of potassium sorbate for about 30 secons before refrigeration.
